How Do I?
Antón School has adopted a positive school-wide discipline program to support the behavioral success of all students. Implementation of Positive Behaviorial Intervention and Supports (PBiS) will use a broad range of strategies for achieving improved growth in social and learning outcomes while averting problematic behavior.
PBiS involves commitment from the entire school staff to teach, enforce, and acknowledge student behaviors. At all times, staff and students are expected to follow our three core behavior rules:
Be Safe – Be Responsible – Be Respectful
When you’re visiting our school, please check out our PBiS posters displayed throughout our campus. Each poster defines how students are expected to behave relative to a location in our school. If you arrive early enough, you’ll hear our PBiS behavior lesson being announced over the PA system. After the announcement, teachers are expected to reinforce the lesson through review and role-plays.
By working together, we will be able to build a safe and orderly campus where everyone feels welcome.
